Silent Night Design A Bed Competition
I love my bed. It’s my favourite place in the whole house and luckily Charlie feels the same way. He goes to bed at 6.30pm and sleeps until 7am the next day so it’s safe to say it spends a good chunk of time in it. When we were asked by Silent Night to design a dream bed as they are running a competition open to bloggers which closes on 21st February 2015. I got Charlie on the case – primarily as at 6 years old he’s a much better artist than I am! So we set about designing what he thought would be a pretty awesome bed. Charlie’s Dream Bed I asked him what kind of bed he’d love and he said a chocolate bed that when you eat it – it replaces itself!! I reckon he’s onto a winner here with that idea. Can you imagine how fab that would be? I definitely think his bed idea was somewhat linked to our trip to Wonderland a few days ago and Hansel and Gretel’s house…! So the top of the bed is lollipops with a chocolate duvet (amazing idea!) and his pillow is made of toffee. Yum!
But to get up to the chocolate zone you have to go in the space station lift! There are rockets, planets and asteroids under the bed so the lift zooms you into chocolate space. I think that along with Hansel and Gretel it was inspired by his favourite book and namesake Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with a hint of space fun! He was very proud of his bed invention and fingers crossed we win when the competition closes on Saturday. You can find out more about the competition by going to the Silent Night website. Here’s an exciting chance to win a £50 Marks & Spencers voucher and the instantly recognisable Silent Night hippo teddy. Just fill out the RaffleCopter below.
