[AD – Review] Fathers Day Personalised Football Book from Historic Newspapers

14th June 2021 No Comments

It’s been a while since I have done a review, but as Father’s Day approaches and we are well and truly engulfed in football season (Come on England!) I have found the perfect Fathers Day gift for any football loving Dad. Thanks to the lovely folk at Historic Newspapers, we have Father’s Day sorted thanks to this gorgeous West Ham personalised football book.

My husband is a huge die-hard West Ham fan and has been his whole life, and has subsequently turned us into a family of fans with the kids all regularly donning their kits to watch every match. Both Charlie and my husband both can be found scouring social media prior to any matches to find the latest up to date team news, so this gift is one to help delve into the past.

The sport history books are compiled from national newspapers from years ago allowing access to the archives all in one place to relieve the good, bad and often bonkers moments that happen in sport.

The history book came in a sturdy protective box to keep the book safe and dust free. The book tracks back all the way from 1904 so there’s plenty of stuff to read up on and boost your team knowledge. The first page of the book has it’slovely personalisation from the children to him as an extra loving touch which I know he will love.

The gift book feels and looks of luxurious quality and works chronologically so you can really get a feel of how the club has grown and progressed over the past century. I know my husband will absolutely love this, but so will Charlie who has always been a fact fiend and will love to pour over the archives of his favourite club.

Historic Newspapers not only do football history books, but also cricket, rugby, golf and tennis so there’s definitely something for everyone who loves to fact find about sports and their favourite teams or sports stars. Each book is bound by hand and personalised with your recipient’s name to give an extra special thoughtful touch. After such a hard year and lockdown looks set to remain in place for some time to come, it’s the perfect way to relax indoors.

I chose the West Ham book for my husband, but there are 61 other teams to choose from and the website also offers a whole host of other gifts for those Dad’s not into sport such as a divine looking Gold Malt newspaper gift set; so why not treat a loved Father figure in your life. They have a 15% off code on their website so why not snap it up and get your Father’s Day sorted in style.
