[Review] Sophie La Girafe Cosmetics

Sophie La Girafe; a name incredibly familiar with most parents. At most playgrous, soft play areas and playgrounds across the country you are bound to spot at least one Sophie being gnawed on by a little person – my girls were massive fans of her when those peksy teeth were poking through. Sophie was never far from reach. But I have to admit – I thought that was it. But how wrong was I – there’s an absolute huge variety of products that you can buy alongside your trust old giraffe friends.

I had no idea that they did cosmetics so was incredibly lucky to be sent three to try out on my girls. We were sent the Hair and Body Wash, some body lotion and baby oil Body lotion (RRP £14.99) 150ml

This can also be used if you are pregnant as it contains oat milk which can sooth the skin – something I desperately needed when suffering from cholestasis in my twin pregnancy.

[review] Penwizard Personalised Peppa Pig Book

My kids absolutely love books and I’m trying to nurture this as much as possible as I love seeing them “reading” I was offered to review a lovely Penwizard book and I decided to choose a Peppa Pig one.

There are lots of different characters to choose from including In The Night Garden, Ben and Holly and more generic ones such as your child’s name and football team.I decided to choose a book for P1; I will be ordering P2 one as well so she doesn’t feel left out! I chose The Biggest Muddy Puddle because we all love a muddy puddle! I ordered the book on Thursday and it was delivered by Saturday. I also received an email on Friday telling me that it had been despatched first class – excellent customer service keeping me informed!

Funky Giraffe Competition

I first saw Funky Giraffe at the Baby Show last May and my friend bought her impending little bundle some bibs. There is such a massive range to choose from I was blown away by how many there really is!

I was lucky enough to be offered the chance to review two for my girls. I decided to go for the classic look and chose a silver bowtie style and also the ivory bowtie one as I thought they were so stinkin cute! I also thought that a white bib would go with so much more. I loved how soft the material is and there’s also two popper fastenings. Velcro is an absolute no go with us now – the girls rip them straight off so these posed more of a difficulty! The satin bow gives it a lovely finish and the trademark giraffe is on the tag. The bibs are incredibly durable and soak up any drink excess or dribble a treat! We have a wedding later in the year so we will definitely be digging them out to avoid getting their posh dresses mucky at meal time!

Now I have to share this photo with you. It’s quite probably one of the funniest photos I have ever ever EVER seen of my daughter – I just put the camera on her and she pulled this grin of all grins! But look how uber cute she looks in her little bib!!
