18 months ago, I was starting my Slimming World journey. At 5″7, when I joined and stepped on the scales for the first time and it flashed up 13 stone 7 pound, I was horrified. I don’t own scales at home so seeing I was thirteen and a half stone was hard. I knew since having the girls I had put on weight, but didn’t realise how much weight I had put on until seeing that number. I had no idea how I would get on with Slimming World, but that day really spurred me into wanting to lose three…

A few weeks ago, after not going pretty much all year, I decided to quit my gym. I wasn’t utilising my monthly membership and knew I could not justify paying £30 a month for something I just wasn’t using. Drastic huh? I guess so. However, I knew I wouldn’t be able to not exercise for long and a new gym has just opened a few days ago and I have decided I need a change of scenery and am going to join. My last gym was part of my old school and was very dated and also the main factor…

It was this time last year, that I had finally plucked up the courage to join Slimming World. I was on the cusp of going up yet another dress size taking it to my fourth in total and I realised I couldn’t go on like this anymore. I went on to lose three stone in under six months sticking to the Slimming World plan and haven’t looked back since. I am not professing to be an expert in ANY capacity no no no, however, I am sharing with you today MY 5 fool proof ways to lose weight with Slimming…

I’m struggling. Since joining Slimming World back in January, I was amazed at my weight loss and in May I hit the three stone loss mark which was something I never in a million years though I would do. But from there? It’s been hard going. On 24th May I had lost 3 stone 1.5lbs. On 4th October I have lost 3 stone 3 stone 3.5lbs. Doesn’t seem very much does it? Five months and I’ve been battling backwards and forwards with gaining and losing but I really feel I have hit a wall. At my lowest weigh, I was…

It’s been quite a while since I’ve updated on my weight loss and fitness journey. In reality, it has been because the summer was a bit of a write off. Whilst I did go to group, I ended up off the wagon for the predominance of the summer holidays. I was totally ok with this because it allowed me the freedom to enjoy days out with the kids without feeling restricted and we had so many lovely impromptu BBQs and picnics. I had almost reached my 3.5 stone weight loss but now I’m back at a 3 stone loss which…

My name is Beth. And I am a hoarder.  There. My not so guilty secret. It can’t be a secret because if you saw my bedroom then you’d kinda know. About two years ago we decided to invest in some proper wardrobes. After making do with ones I had AS A TEENAGER(!) we got all grown up and bought some fancy sliding door IKEA ones that you can add all extra stuff onto.  We ended up essentially with four massive wardrobes which have six drawers inside along with a trouser rail and a shoe rack. When we started moving our…

Since January, I have lost three stone. 42 lbs. Gone. And I feel great. I have written previously about how I really let myself go and felt stuck in a rut. You see, I was one of those realllllly annoying people that could eat what I liked and never put on a pound. “It’ll catch up with you one day” someone would say as I was shovelling another burger down my neck. Yeah yeah whatever. Even after having Charlie, within 10 days I was back in my size 10 jeans and not a stretchmark in sight. Then I had twins.…
