January is here and like almost everyone else, the first thing I tend to do to combat the post-Christmas blues is to start dreaming of sunnier climes. 2018 will see us as a family travel to my dream holiday destination of Walt Disney World Florida but whilst this is mine, my husbands dream destination is actually Italy. Whenever you ask him where he wants to go, Italy is his number one so whilst I am dreaming of dinner with Mickey Mouse, he can often be found perusing villas to rent in Tuscany as he’s decided this is where he wants to…

I have been doing bucket list for the last few years and an annual one is always one that is so nice to look back upon and see how many I achieved. It’s always nice to see how you start and end a year with very different mind-sets and ideas of what the year ahead looks like. I revisited my 2017 bucket list and it was lovely to see so many unexpected ones on there and creating new bigger ones throughout the year, namely our big trip to Walt Disney World next year. 2017 was without a doubt one of…

My kids broke up from school super early this year, which meant we were able to squeeze in a festive trip to Bluestone before the festive big day. We last visited Bluestone back in April 2015 when the girls were still just two so I was excited to take them back now they are older and are more independent. I wrote in-depth last time about our check in and Grassholm lodge so you can check out my full Bluestone accommodation review here; we stayed in number 28 Preseli View last time and this time we were in number 20 so…

It’s always nice to make a list for the forthcoming year. I have done this for the past few years and it’s nice to look back 12 months on to see how many I achieved. It’s also nice to see what my aspirations were 12 months ago and how life really can be so unpredictable and you can never fully go through with what you always want. It is always good fun writing one of these and here is my 2018 goal list; but first lets revisit 2017. Renovate the kitchen. FAIL. We finally did our bathroom and it looks…

You probably will have read my favourite blog posts of 2017 part 1, so here is part 2 with lots more wonderful posts to keep you entertained whilst you polish off the leftover matchmakers and gear yourself up to joining a gym next week (cough cough!!) Kicking off, it’s the lovely Hannah from Hi Baby Blog  with her post about how Motherhood can sometimes feel like a prison sentence. It can feel so incredibly monotonous. I remember that the sound of kids TV shows starting would be my trigger to go and make lunch or know it was time for…

I cannot believe we are at the end of 2017. For me, it has been such a big year with my baby girls starting school and adjusting to life with no kids at home. As I look back, it has been a pretty amazing year blog-wise with some amazing trips and partnerships, with 2018 set to look even better. I really enjoyed doing my favourite posts of 2016 and giving a shout out to some amazing bloggers so thought I’d share some of my favourites that have stuck with me throughout 2017. Kicking off is Kerry from Kerry Louise Norris…

I am on the wind down for Christmas and will be taking a social media break for the festive period, but I couldn’t not join in with the Christmas tag that the lovely Hannah from Hi Baby Blog tagged me in. Grab a mulled wine and some gingerbread and enjoy! The Christmas Tag What’s your favourite Christmas movie? I just love watching Home Alone as it reminds me of my childhood Christmas times as my sister was convinced she was going to marry Macaulay Culkin. Charlie has inherited the love of the film and can often be found watching it…
