My Favourite Blog Posts of 2017 (Part 2)

You probably will have read my favourite blog posts of 2017 part 1, so here is part 2 with lots more wonderful posts to keep you entertained whilst you polish off the leftover matchmakers and gear yourself up to joining a gym next week (cough cough!!)

Kicking off, it’s the lovely Hannah from Hi Baby Blog  with her post about how Motherhood can sometimes feel like a prison sentence. It can feel so incredibly monotonous. I remember that the sound of kids TV shows starting would be my trigger to go and make lunch or know it was time for a nap. It is easy to feel trapped doing the same thing day in day out and Hannah shares how we all at times can feel so brilliantly.

Following on from Hannah with this post by Laura at Life With Baby Kicks who hits the nail on the head when she says that parenting is hard but that doesn’t mean you aren’t grateful. There are times when all I seem toi do is moan about how hard it is and to an outsider, they may think I hate my life and maybe even hat I didn’t wish I had kids. It’s simply not true. I just sometimes need to sound off and I never forget how lucky I am to have three healthy happy kids. But sometimes? It’s OK to have a whinge, we are all human after all.

Moving on from parenting, to look at blogging itself. Leanne from A Slice of My Life Wales shared this really useful post about how to improve your photography as a blogger. I often find that I struggle with my images and am rubbish at editing so for Leanne to share these tips was like gold dust. Her photos are always so amazing and she really is someone to aspire to.

I am really looking forward to Leanne’s editing post.

With the New Year on the horizon, I always want to try to be more organised and my friend Cat from Pushing The Moon has opened my eyes to the joy of Bullet Journals. She has given loads of tips about how to start and her pictures are so damn pretty. Will 2018 be the year of my BuJo?! We shall see.

I read this post by Jenny from Monkey and Mousey back in January and it absolutely cemented my dreams of taking the kids to Lapland. My friend visited a few weeks ago and I’ve decided without a doubt that I want to do it in the next couple of years. Just reading the post makes the magic come to life and it’s definitely one for the ultimate dream bucket list.

Hope you enjoy reading these posts as much as I did. Here’s to another amazing year of wonderful posts in 2018!
