We are officially in October therefore all things Halloween are totally acceptable to start talking about. I absolutely love Halloween and we always loved decorating the house, Halloween dressing up and of course, carving a pumpkin.
Our pumpkins aren’t very adventurous (as you can see above!) unfortunately so I thought I’d ask a few bloggers to share their wonderful creations with me and there are some corkers!
Georgina from Gee Gardner shared her creations that she did for her daughters on Halloween. I am seriously impressed with that Hello Kitty and how cute to add her daughters name too! I never think to add writing to them.
I love the Boogie Man as done by Anoushka from Spitting Yarn. She said her son asked for something really creepy – I think he fits the bill perfectly, great carving skills!
Emma Reed shared her Halloween treats. I am quite good at triangle shapes so think I could copy these ones this year. You can’t not have a cat in some form around Halloween can you?
These are also Emma’s and I am super impressed with the ghost and love how the light shines through.
Vikki from Mum Times Two shared this brilliant Ninja Turtle and my favourite, Jack Skellington from A Nightmare Before Christmas pumpkins. I bet older kids would absolutely love these. Michelle from The Purple Pumpkin blog has a whole post on her blog on how she achieved these flipping brilliant designs. Here is her Walking Dead pumpkin blog
Her brilliant Alice in Wonderful inspired pumpkins post
There are also 35 pumpkin carving ideas here and loads of fantastic Disney inspired pumpkins and decorations ones from their party here.
Hats off to Michelle for sharing so many amazing ideas, that she has very kindly let me share with you guys.
These fabulous pumpkins are by Danielle from Someones Mum. I love how one is hanging up too. I might try this outside our house this year as I never think to have them hanging so they can be seen more easily.
They are just brilliant and give you lots of food for thought. I can’t wait to think of what creation will try this year but I am going to definitely try harder I think! If you aren’t into carving, why not take a look at my no carve pumpkins ideas post for some inspiration or my simple DIY Halloween costumes.
Thank you to all the bloggers who kindly let me share their images and blog posts on my site
