With three children at school and nursery, being organised is something I really need to be. Ok so there’s times where I fail MASSIVELY but 2017 is a year of trying harder. The girls will start school in September so this will ramp up my need for totally being on the ball. As you know thanks to my monthly bucket list linky, I love a good list and trying to be organised so I was chuffed to be sent a Stigu spiral bound planner and a Stigu to do pad to try out.
So, what is a Stigu planner?
Not only is it an annual planner (available in three different designs) but it also is a to-do pad, a notebook and a diary but the beauty of Stigu is that incorporated within the planner is a super cute guidebook on how to prioritise self-care which we ALL need to do more of. Stigu delivers this messages through practices which are designed to help recharge and boost energy levels and is done with a good dollop of humour and compassion. It gives a wide variety of no-nonsense tips, practices, provoking quotes and inspiring quirky little illustrations which make you want to keep turning the pages.
The Stigu To Do pad has 100 pages to enable you to get your shizz done in a funky way! Lets face it, no one likes writing a list on a scrap of paper. I like having a fancy list that I can tick off. I absolutely love the little tick box at the end and it’s massively satisfying ticking it off at the end of the day. It only costs £5 so would make a great gift for any stationery loving friend, or some who who needs their life organising a bit better! (Cough my husband)
I love that the planner has tear off edges enabling you to find your place quickly. I am forever forgetting what day it is and having to flick through pages so this is a quick and easy trick to ensure you are on the ball. It also is pretty scary to see how fast the weeks fly by! I love extra touches such as this which gives it a real edge over your bog standard planner.
There are various boxes to write your tasks in and I definitely need some coloured pens and highlighters to pretty up my pages. Tuesdays in my house will always be a think thin day as it’s my weigh in. I will be using my new planner to track my weight loss and HOPEFULLY there’ll be a big celebration page soon when I hit my Slimming World target at long last. The planner also has 32 blank pages meaning it can double as a notepad which is so handy when out and about as blog post ideas usually pop into my head so it’s great to have somewhere to scribble them down. It really has everything all in one place.
