My Ten Favourite Disneyland Paris PhotoPass+ Photos

I realised that I haven’t really shared many of my Disneyland Paris photos with you all despite many of you asking to see them. I thought I’d share my ten favourite Disneyland Paris PhotoPass+ photos from our trip. We paid for our PhotoPass before we travelled through our travel agents but you can buy a PhotoPass in the Disneyland Paris park. Most of the shops sell them and they cost around £45.

This was the longest queue we had to wait in but you can see why – you can’t go to Disneyland without meeting Minnie and Mickey together can you?!

I have to admit I wasn’t all that fussed about meeting Marie but this has ended as one of my favourite shots of us all. Her meet was actually outside Minnie’s house and we have some lovely pics on our camera with Minnie here as she was only there first thing as she obviously goes to be with Mickey (cough cough!)

Jack Skellington was BRILLIANT! Many of the characters don’t actually “talk” but Jack was brilliant. He asked Charlie all about Halloween and was asking him to show him the Thriller dance He really took ages chatting to everyone and made my trip!

Most people wouldn’t include this one but it makes me HOWL! P2 had to be woken to go in to see Spider-Man and her face with a grimace smile makes me howl! Spider-Man always has a PhotoPass+ photographer with him and he can be found in the studios by the Aerosmith ride.

Another VERY funny one. My husband managed to talk Charlie into going on Tower of Terror and his face says it all! Poor thing was scared out of his wits but is now pretty proud of the fact he went on it, as am I!

The girls absolutely LOOVED the Buzz Lightyear ride. We went on it so many times and could use our hotel fastpass to skip the queues as we stayed in Newport Bay Compass Club so got a free daily fastpass which has no time slot on.

We went to see the film Moana the day before we went to Disney. The film wasn’t officially released until the following weekend, so many didn’t know really who she was meaning there was a very small queue to meet her. I thought she was fab and looked so like her! Charlie has a Hei Hei toy which she was impressed with.

Ah Mickey. I was *that* person who asked for photos on my own with Mickey after the kids had had theirs. It was so magical and I genuinely felt a little star struck. We were really luck with our Mickey meets (we went twice in our stay!) and a tip is definitely to go see him during EMH as most people stop at the first few on Main Street. We went straight through and there was no queue.

Have to finish on one with the Castle. This was our first afternoon and we struck lucky as again, no queue. It’s a lovely photo to have in your collection with such an iconic view.

What is a PhotoPass?

For those of you which don’t know what a PhotoPass+ is, you purchase a PhotoPass+ which cost us 39€ when we booked our holiday with the travel agent. You can buy them at various shops in the park. You are given a box that has a card (credit card sized) and two smaller key fobs. These have a unique barcode on the back. When you ride certain rides that have PhotoPass+ photo opportunities (Buzz Lightyear, Tower of Terror etc) once you get off the ride you find your photo on the screen and go to the counter and get them “scanned” which will link it to your PhotoPass+ account. I downloaded the app to my iPhone and checked the photos as we went along to check they were loading – they all did no problem luckily.

For character meet and greets, we found the PhotoPass+ a little hit and miss but most had photographers with them after 11am. Again, the photographer who is usually in a light brown outfit with a huge camera takes photos of you with the character and then scans your card so they’ll all show up.

We got over 60 photos in 5 days with our card so it was definitely worth it. They are high quality and can easily be downloaded to share on social media or printed off as a lovely memento of your holiday.

I took over 700 photos on my own camera so expect more posts like this soon!

These are lovely. Things like this can get so expensive on top of a trip that was costly in the first place. Great idea

Love seeing people’s snaps like these! I’ve never been that keen on a Disney holiday but these pictures along with the ones my friend showed me after they got back from a Christmas holiday to florida. A great way to get the special pictures you’d expect from a holiday like this!
