Disney Princess Belle Musical Tea Party Cart Review

Three weeks today, and we will be off to Disneyland Paris where my childhood dreams will come true! Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite films and Belle is definitely a contender for my favourite Disney princess. To my surprise, P2 who is not as keen on all things princess as her twin, loves Beauty and the Beast. It’s pretty much the only princess film she will watch so when we were offered the chance to review the Disney Princess Belle Musical Tea Party Cart, I knew it was going to be a big hit.

img_7956The set comes complete with the iconic Mrs Potts and Chip cup and as you push the cart, it plays the brilliant song from the film “Be Our Guest” and they spin around!

The set comes with two cups, two saucers, two spoons and Mrs Potts teapot. It comes in individual parts in the box and needs assembling – luckily no screwdrivers. I have to admit that it did feel a little wobbly so really needs pushing into place to be secure. Batteries are already included.

The whole design is all related to the film even the wheels have the “rose” on the wheels and there’s a lovely large image of Belle and Beast on the front from the famous ballroom scene.

The set also comes with a little tea party invite which is a lovely added touch and features Lumiere and Chip which you can personalise for your little one.
The girls are really into imaginative play at the moment so a set like this really provides scope for role play. P2 took on the role of “host” and liked to push and pour for her guest P1. The song is so catchy that they both were singing it as she was giving her a “nice cup of tea”!
As you can see, my girls are three and the cart is at a good height for them to push with ease. It is 53cm tall so I would bear this in mind if you are buying for an older child. It is very light in weight and pushes really easily. We used it on carpet and it had no problem, even with a rogue blanket in the way.

There has been real attention to detail on the cart as the wheels and the button that starts the music all fit in with the “rose” theme from the film. The music also starts playing as you push the cart forwards or backwards. img_7982It really has been well thought out and really captures the Beauty and the Beast essence. I think that the Disney Princess Belle Musical Tea Party Cart would make a brilliant Christmas gift for any Disney fan. It has an RRP of £49.99 and is on sale at Smyths and Amazon.
