After we were sent our Baby Annabell doll, the girls seemed to get the Baby Annabell bug. We were kindly sent the Baby Annabell Walking Little Lamb doll. He is Baby Annabell’s buddy and we already have the sheep bed that the girls had last Christmas.
He is incredibly soft and has such a cute little face. This lamb is still a baby itself and it compliments Baby Annabell so well, meaning they are a super cute fun team. He comes with a bottle that has a screw top but do not try and feed him any liquid!
Baby Annabell Walking Little Lamb Doll himself toddles happily along when pressed (only going forwards) and wiggles his ears as he goes. The only sound he makes is a little “Baahhh” which is activated by pressing his back, this is also how you turn him off. He needs three AAA which are included which is a godsend when you have eager twins keen to open the package and play with him instantly!
The lamb also has a cute feature that when you place the little bottle to his mouth you can hear him suckling; my girls have such mothering tendencies so they absolutely loved being able to care for him. This was perfect for P2 who isn’t as keen on dolls as her sister but still has the “wanting to look after” element, without it being an actual doll.
The girls just loved the lamb as he was so cuddling but also as they recognised he was Baby Annabell’s companion. He is a great addition to any Baby Annabell collection and what a stroke of luck we already had the sheep bed, which we used for any doll as we felt it was a lot nicer looking than many cheaper alternatives plus being plastic it was likely to last better than flimsy plywood that I know the girls would sit in and snap!
Baby Annabell Walking Little Lamb Doll has an RRP of £29.99 but I have seen it at Amazon at around £25. Whilst he waddles and makes noises, he is somewhat limited so I probably wouldn’t buy this as a main gift on it’s own, but as I say it’s been a nice addition to the collection. I think the girls may tire of him quicker on his own. Also a quick warning – don’t store him in a toy bag as he is really easy to set off and I found myself at 11pm digging around under the stairs as I could hear him bahh-ing at me!
