As you may know, we are off to Disneyland Paris in December, so we are in full blown Disney mode at the moment, so you can imagine the excitement when we were sent My Interactive Friend Mickey to review.
Mickey is all singing, jumping and dancing and can say over 70 things AND he even works on command. There are 15 ‘magic words’ you can say to him and he responds! My personal favourite is when he runs as I just love the music. The girls love to “tickle” him and just love that he really responds, they genuinely do think he is magic! I would say that we found him a little hit and miss when he responds, especially to the girls but we had fun experimenting.
Mickey comes with batteries included which is always a life saver with eager little ones desperate to try him when he’s in the box. He can be turned off via a switch on his back, if you are all Mickey-ed out. He is approximately 37.5cm tall and will require 2 AA batteries.
The clever part extra aspect to Mickey is that he can be partnered up with the interactive Minnie and together they hold hands and talk to each other. Obviously this means that you do however have to buy two of them but if you have more than one child, this is something you probably would do anyone, and it gives the toys a whole new dimension. We only have one so I can’t tell you exactly how they do work together but I have a feeling that the Minnie may end up on our Disney crazed girls Christmas list.
Mickey has an RRP of £49.99 which I do think is a little steep but I guess when you look at toys of similar capability, then it is correctly priced. He is a lot of fun and the girls think he’s so much fun and just hilarious.
