Satchel Bags

The kids have just broken up from school, so with six weeks of them at home I think that us Mothers may be needing a little treat in the name of sanity and me bring completely cliche I love a good handbag. Keeping in the theme of all things school, I’m currently loving the satchel style bag trend.

It’s such a timeless look which can easily be dressed up or down. I am out of the stage where I need a changing bag so I am rejoicing with building me a gorgeous collection of new handbags that can make the switch from day to night with ease.

I have been looking and found these four that I am absolutely in love with.

I love the variety of colours in these. The River Island bag gives a nautical vibe with its blue and white combination. This bag is medium sized so would be perfect for school runs but also meals out. It looks much more expensive than its very modest price tag.

The Ted Baker bag is definitely a payday treat but I have three Ted Baker bags currently so I know that they are super quality and last so well. I am a big Ted Baker fan!

I adore the vibrant yellow Zatchel bag as I do like bright accessories. It is perfect for the long hot summer days and I like the long strap so it can be worn across the body too as with two hands to hold, I need to be able to walk without having to adjust a bag constantly.

The Ollie and Nic bag is definitely the most classic satchel style and colour. I like the handle on the top along with the long strap. I can’t believe that it’s only £27.50 as it looks at leats double that price tag.

Which is your favourite?
