Megableu Family Games Review and Giveaway

Back in Halloween we were sent two spooky board games – Creepy Hand and Ghost Hunt to test out and review which was great fun. So you can imagine how excited we were to receive another three to test out. We received Cobra Attack, Trickin’ Camel and Alien Mission to try out; what better way to spend a cold November afternoon?

Alien Mission (RRP £39.99)

alien mission megableu

Charlie just loved this as it was all about aliens and shooting. You put on the goggles and aliens and robots appear inside the goggles. With the infra red gun your job is to zap them. The aliens appear from EVERYWHERE and you have to zap them as quick as you can but you need to be careful not to shoot a Robot Officer who is there to help as you will lose a point. You try to get the highest score. As with Ghost Hunt, my husband and Charlie became incredibly competitive to try to get the highest score. You will need 6AAA batteries which are not included in the game.

Trickin’ Camel (RRP £19.99)

trickin camel megableu

This camel is a legend! You know how they say camels are grumpy – well this dude really is and will take his revenge.

The concept of the game is to press the colour as they light up and if you get it correct you get a bottle from his back. The player with the most bottles at the end of the game is the winner, but beware if he you get the sequence wrong he will spit water at you and if he’s bored he will tip all the bottles off his back. He has some serious attitude but Charlie thought he was HILARIOUS. There are three difficulty levels and you can play on your own or with other players.

I am definitely going to be bringing it out at Christmas as I will take great delight in seeing my sister get soaked.

Cobra Attack RRP £24.99

I am going to start off by admitting I have a ridiculous phobia of snakes and just looking at this game freaked me out! So I let Charlie review this one and we recorded him playing it. It’s a game of stealth and seizing your opportunity to try to win the jewel on the snakes basket without getting caught. If you make the snake angry he pops out – and definitely will make you squeal (cover your ears watching the video!)

We love a board game here and have just loved trying out all these games. I love that they can be played alone or with others so Charlie can always occupy himself. And I’m SO excited to be able to give one Twinderelmo reader the chance to win all FIVE of these board games which will be perfect for playing with the family at Christmas and have a RRP of £135!
