If I Could…

After reading Jocelyns post it really got me thinking about my “if I could” things. I love questions like this, it’s fun to pretend and kinda like the if I won the lottery question!

if i could
If I could live anywhere:

Dorset. It honestly is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to and there’s just so much to see and do. I’ve never seen such beautiful scenery it’s just stunning. We went again this year and had such a fantastic time. No trip is complete without a day at Monkey World which is why the love affair with the county started.

If I could have any home:

I would love a big barn with high ceilings and gorgeous full length windows which let so much light in – I hate dark rooms! However I don’t think the countryside life would suit me as I couldn’t be doing with the nice and rats that come along with it! But I would just love a light, airy open place house with a huge island in the kitchen and lots of wooden beams. I really want a playroom and huge utility to hide all the toys and washing – the dream!!!!
If I could have any garden:

I found the most amazing garden when scouring on right move that had this secret door in the fence that opened to another garden area – it was so lovely and perfect for kids. I would love lots of beautiful bright flowers that filled the garden when the sun was shining but all low maintenance of course!!

If I could be on holiday right now:

I so desperately want to visit New York. It was always my dream plan for my 30th but with an imminent house move and lots of little people it looks like it’ll be moved to my 40th! It is my number 1 destination that I am desperate to visit.

If I could have any job:
I would just love a social media based role that allowed me to work from home but I would love to sink my teeth into a business that really hadn’t utilised the power of social media and bloggers and turn them around. It frustrates me that so many businesses fail when they don’t utilise this massive opportunity for their own gain.

If I could have any talent:

I’ve always wanted to be able to draw. It sounds a bit silly but I would just love to be able to doodle and create artwork for my kids rooms but sadly my stick men look rather ridiculous!! I love to draw stars but how amazing would it be to sit and paint a gorgeous print not to mention relaxing.
If I could live any day again?

Wedding day and the births of my kids are too obvious! So I would probably go back to the school BBQ when the girls were exactly 3 weeks old. It was our first proper outing as a family of 5 and my Mom and Dad came along with my sister and it was lovely as we had burgers, Charlie played on all the stalls and got to meet his new teacher as he was due to start school in the September. It holds such a lovely memory as it was the only whole family outing we ever got without the shadow of cancer as the following week was when my Mom was diagnosed. In hindsight it was so lovely to have such a care free evening with all of us together and it feels so bittersweet that we only got that one but that may be one more than many others get.

If I could have any superpower:

I would love to be able to time travel. Wouldn’t it be awesome to be able to go back and relive some amazing moments but also to peek into the future to see what it holds for us all…!

That was so much fun!!

B xx

Loved reading this! I love the idea of a secret door in a garden, and your dream home sounds lovely, I do like lots of light, too. My husband’s always wanted a barn conversion like that. I do hope you get to New York, we’ve been and it is an amazing city. Thanks for joining in with the tag x

I agree, time travel would be awesome! It would lovely to go back to a Family get together and make sure some photo’s were taken to capture the moment forever before it’s too late. I would love to have a photograph taken with my Grandad. Nowadays, people always have their phones handy to take photo’s.
