Graham & Brown

I absolutely LOVE online shopping, whether it be browsing or buying (who am I kidding, browsing always ends up with buying!) but every now and then you stumble upon a website that you lose yourself in, and last week this website that I may have spent well over an hour on was Graham & Brown.  If you’ve just clicked that link – you probably won’t be reading this as I’ve lost you for a good 60 minutes – come back!!

The website is absolutely perfect to pretty up your house. I decided that the girls bedroom needs a bit of a spruce up. Behind their cots there are some lovely wall stickers that I vividly remember my Mom and I fiddling about with and trying to make it look symmetrical whilst I was sporting a rather huge double bump and couldn’t stand up for more than a few minutes at a time. The stickers are the only wall art that we really have in their very pink painted room. I am thinking in the next 6 months as we make the transition from nursery to toddler room that we will finally get rid of the super girly pink for something more interesting. On the wall adjacent to the door it is an incredibly plain pink wall so I thought this wall would benefit most from some decoration.

After MUCH (and honestly, I spent ages deliberating on what to put on the wall. I don’t want something that has a shelf life and as they grow they no longer want so I decided on the timeless classic and opted for this beautiful Bambi framed art print.

The print comes in a thick set black frame and measures 30cm by 40cm so isn’t too large but doesn’t get lost on such a vast wall. Me being me, I added some bunting we have had since they were born to give an extra splash of colour. The image is so iconic and so beautiful The gorgeous strong colours in the image are complimented perfectly with the strong monochrome white background and black frame. It costs £30 which for a framed high quality print is a pretty good price and delivery is £3.95 unless you spend over £50, which I dare you to try and not!

I absolutely love it. I have a few more prints that I’ve had that need framing so may add them and can’t wait for the transition to toddlers – although I’m not happy at the thought of trying to get two girls to stay in a bed and not run riot!!

Keep your eyes peeled in the next week as we have been doing a spot of redecorating thanks to Graham & Brown!

The Bambi print is so cute! We’re swapping bedrooms with the boys later this year, so double redecorating to do eek…excited though and already started planning it even if Si says we can’t start til he’s built the new concrete sheds (boo!)
