Thanks to Becky at 3 Princesses and 1 Dude, I thought I’d mix it up a little on the blog and share with your my favourite things from the ULTIMATE classic that is Disney!
1. Favourite Disney Film?
I absolutely LOVE the Toy Story films. They are such timeless films that were so cool to watch. I can turn it on with the kids now and it still feels as fresh and new as it did back in 1995 (TWENTY YEARS AGO ARGH)
2. Favourite Disney Character?
I wanted to be Cinderella was I was a little girl but as I’ve got older I appreciate the cooler people and I love Baloo from the Jungle Book as he was just such a dude!
3. Favourite Disney Princess?
I loved Cinderella – it was her dress when she went to the ball that captured me as a little girl and I always wanted to be her. Nowadays I like the bolshy independent girls that don’t need a man to sweep them off their feet and can throw a mean right hook!
4. Favourite Disney Side-kick?
I do love Sebastian from The Little Mermaid because everyone loves –that– song – does he count as a sidekick?!
5. Favourite Disney Song.
The Lion King has some ace songs – I love Oh I Just Can’t Wait To Be King but also Bare Necessities from Jungle Book and the lovely You Got A Friend In Me from Toy Story. But I love to belt out Love is an Open Door from Frozen too – too many corkers!
6. Which Disney character would be your best friend?
Pumbaa – he is just hilarious! I could probably even get on board with the farting in order to be mates.
7. Who would be your Disney pet?
Abu from Aladdin as he was super cute and helpful to have around!
8. Have you ever been to Disneyland?
No. We always said we wanted to take Charlie when he was about 4-5 but seeing as we had the twins when he was exactly 4 and a half it’s gone out the window so now going to go when the girls are age 4-5 so only another few years to wait.
9. Who is your Disney Alter Ego?
Haha maybe Mike out of Monsters Inc. A bit of a klutz but his heart is the right place!
10. Who is your favourite Disney villain?
Same as Becky – Cruella De Ville; she’s fabulously awful!
11. Do you collect anything Disney wise?
No but I do love all the mugs they do
I would want to be Cinderella and get the glass shoes
13. How old were you when you watched your first Disney film?
I think I was about 3 or 4.. My sister was at school and I was watching Dumbo and my Mom came back in and found me sobbing as he had been taken away from his Mommy and she was chained up. I remember being distraught seeing his Mom being hit and chained up. So I have never ever seen Dumbo all the way through because of that incident!
14. What do you love about Disney?
No matter what age you are, you can still love Disney. It takes you back to being a child and it has the ability to grab everyone in. I love how they are now creating more diverse rounded characters with a bit of fire about them – girl power!
15. Who is your favourite Disney couple?
Aladdin and Jasmine – I love a good rags to riches story and who didn’t want to wear her outfit and look that amazing!?!
