Slimming World – Week 2


Hello again and thanks for reading. Last week was just amazing but I was thinking I may possibly have a huge loss in the first week as my body went into shock!! I had almost 3 stone to lose to my target weight so there was a lot to go. So onto this week

Massive confession – I had a huge binge on chewy sweets at the weekend. I was feeling a bit down so I totally take responsibility but it can’t have helped.

Last week I set myself 3 goals – to exercise more, drink less diet coke & try a fakeaway. Well I started yesterday getting back on the fitness DVD workout. I am currently doing Vicky Geordie Shore which is only 10 minutes at level 1 so it’s achievable as my husband is working crazy at the moment so running is out of the question.

I have been drinking less diet coke but my husband has just brought two huge packs thinking he was helping bless him but I bought lots of little bottles of water which i find myself drinking more as they’re so handy. 

I haven’t got round to trying to make a fakeaway so I will definitely be looking into it this week as its half term so have more time. However I am slightly worried about the coming week. Today we have a wedding, tomorrow we are off to Alton Towers and with half term I’m sure there’ll be lots of days out so temptation and easy quick food will be a huge temptation so must try to focus!!
This week I have been loving… Toffee muller yogurts! I love them warm and as a real treat!

Anyway on to the big reveal that we all want to know. Drumroll…

Weight change: 2lbs loss! (9lbs in total)

I am surprisingly happy with this. Compared to last week it’s not huge but I’m really happy. If I could sustain 2lbs a week I would be made up as I know I would reach my target weight in 3.5 months so I need to go for the bigger picture and to be fair – 9lbs in 2 weeks is pretty good going!

So goals for next week:

  • Try to stick on plan despite a few tempting days
  • Get cracking on a fakeaway
  • Keep up with the DVD

    I quit fizzy drinks (even the zero/diet stuff) a few weeks ago and haven’t been tempted since x

    Wow you’re doing great1 I love reading peoples Slimming World journeys. I lost almost 3 stone on SW last year, it was the only ‘diet’ that worked for me! x

    Well done lovely!! They say the second week you don’t normally lose anything (according to the biggest loser usa) so 2lbs is amazing xxx

    Just started a 3 stone off diet three weeks ago. lost 1/2 stone but already bored – want crisps!!! but I am determined to do it.
