[Book Buddies] Round Like A Ball

I’m really excited that we are now Parragon Book Buddies! My kids love books; they all have a bedtime story and I’m amazed at Charlie’s reading ability at the age of 6. They all as babies joined our local library and we love getting new books so being a Book Buddy is pretty awesome news for us.

The first book that we have received is “Round Like A Ball” which is aimed at younger children (says suitable from birth) It is a hardback book with 10 sturdy pages. The book focuses on shapes which is great for teaching your toddlers. There are 5 different shapes and on each page there is a raised shape which my girls loved to grab and on the opposite page there was a cut out shape so they could follow the shape outline with their fingers.

It has the shape name and what the outline of the shape so it’s a simple effective way for them to understand.

The book has the cutest animation characters which are animals with very soft pastel colours throughout.

The girls loved the book but I will have to keep my eyes peeled when they are holding it as they have a tendency to try to rip anything that’s raised clean off!!

It is priced at £4.99 and gets a thumbs up from us!

This book looks fab! Definitely the sort of thing Luke would love. He’s so eager to learn and try to absorb everything at the moment and every day he seems to be doing or saying something new! I have never heard of Parragon, which I suppose is a little silly, what’s being a book buddy? Is that like being an ambassador? Ray xx #ToddlerApprovedTuesday

It looks like a very sweet kids book. My littlest is pretty agile at ripping flaps off, he’d be a great tester of book strength! 🙂 xx
