I hate to admit it – but my husband is right. We officially have too many clothes.
There’s about 7 storage vacuum bags in our lost full with the girls clothes (they’re only 20 months old!) Not to mention 2 double wardrobes, 3 storage bags, 33 drawers, 2 baskets and 2 boxes down here in their rooms that are currently in rotation. So yes, I admit it. It’s time for a clear out of clothes. But I’m far too attached which is crazy but I have started sifting and there’s quite a bit of Charlie’s clothes he’s grown out of and my old clothes that I am now a but too old to be able to pull off anymore. But how to sell? Where to start!
I love eBay. Nothing like bagging a bargain at the last minute is there? But when you’re the seller it can be incredibly time consuming and it’s hard when you lose a massive chunk of your earnings to sellers fees. I have started looking into Facebook selling groups and these seem quite a good way but some of them have so many people all selling that your post only stays at the top for a few minutes before numerous post bump it down the page.
I did go through a spate a few years ago where I sold a ruck of stuff but it’s all changed now so I have been checking out postage and couriers as our local post office has very inflexible hours and with the girls it can be difficult to get out and about sometimes and found TNT Direct You can get a quote instantly for your parcel based on size and weight and they allow you to post internationally which is always a good option to increase your chance of sales (but remember to quote that in your selling price!) I can also track the parcel so it gives extra peace of mind that it has been delivered as you never know these days!
