Baker Days Cake Review & Giveaway

If there’s one thing I blimmin love it’s cake. (And bacon and crisps… And I wonder why I’ve put on 2 stone!) so it was a no brainer when those lovely folk at Baker Days asked if I wanted to try one of their cakes!

I decided to choose the Olaf from Frozen Valentines cake because the girls love Olaf and giggle their heads off when they see him on anything – although I thought I may feel guilty eating him, after that first bite that guilt went away!!!!
Baker Days Frozen

Frozen Birthday Cakes

Sponge Filling

The cake arrives in a lovely metal tin straight through your letterbox. Our cake was a sponge and it was soft and moist which I’m always a bit fussy about as I hate dry cakes!! You can choose different flavours too – there’s an option on the website if you fancy something different such as chocolate chip. There is also gluten free and dairy free options for those who have intolerances. Charlie was most impressed (and insisted on having candles in it!!!!)

With literally hundreds and hundreds of cakes on their site there’s something for everyone – whether it beΒ the obvious birthday cakes or aΒ One Direction cake, an engagement cake, a new job cake, a sorry cake (that certainly would work on me!) Easter cakes… There’s even a Keith Lemon cake! The list and options are absolutely endless. Prices start from Β£14.99 and there are loads you can personalise and even put your own photo on them!

I did feel that it was a slightly high price for such a small cake especially given how cheap you can get them at the supermarkets. However, if you think of the personalisation aspect and take that into account the price can be more justifiable

They have a wide range of valentines cakes and seeing as the day of love is around the corner – I’m sharing it by giving you the chance to win a letterbox Valentines Cake of your choice!!
