I love a good roundup of posts. There are so many blogs out there that it can be impossible to read them all, so I thought I’d plop them all in one place for you to enjoy with the leftover turkey and chocolates. You’re welcome!
All Touched Out by Harriet from Toby and Roo, is an ode to randy partners wanting to have a little grope but after an exhausting day parenting and especially with a breastfeeding toddler, it’s the last thing on our minds! So funny but so true – one to tag your partners in for a gentle reminder.
My Anxious Child by Louise from Pink Pear Bear is an utterly beautifully written piece about how hard it can be to watch your child struggle with anxiety and the helplessness that accompanies it for a parent. It was a very brave, raw and inspiring piece of writing from Lou that I adored.
I love a good birth story, so Hudson’s Birth Story by my friend Lisa from The Love of a Captain was wonderful to read. I know the feeling that it is a last baby(ies!) so it all feels that bit more real. The beautiful photo of her boys meeting for the first time too is simply gorgeous. Careful – you may get broody!
My ace blogging buddy Lauren from Blogging Mummy Lauren wrote this touching piece about her son and how birthday parties can sometimes be a minefield with an autistic child. I just adore the photos of how happy Neil is on the trampoline – it really makes me smile. As someone with little knowledge or experience, posts like these are so important to read.
Finally for this post, I wanted to share one of my ultimate favourite bloggers Katie from Mummy Daddy and Me. After returning from Disneyland Paris, seeing her beautiful posts and vlogs about visiting Disney World Orlando absolutely cemented the fact we want to take the kids in the next few years. Her travel posts have the most beautiful photos and are uber wanderlust for me as a reader.
Stay tuned for part 2 with some more brilliant blogs soon.
