Disney Sofia the First Toy Range

As you know, we are off to Disneyland Paris in a few months, so we are completely binging on all things Disney. We were very kindly sent a load of Disney Sofia the First Toy Range goodies to try out from the lovely folks at Jakks Pacific meaning I had two very happy little ladies!

P1 is the girlier of our twins so she bagged the Sofia The First Royal Tiara (RRP. £6.99) for herself. When we went on an afternoon our to Ironbridge, she decided she wanted to be chief Princess…and photographer! As a bloggers daughter, she loved the Sofia The First Royal Camera (RRP. £9.99) You just look through the viewfinder to see eight scenes featuring Sofia and her friends in her colourful fun world. The camera also include a removable lens and real camera sound effects so she was clicking along with me. It’s really light and easy to grip so she was happy to carry it around with her on our day out.

On our day out, we took our Sofia the First backpack (RRP £12.99) which is a lightweight full size rucksack. It is made of polyester and whilst has a waterproof inner lining, I don’t think it’d withstand the rain out and about. The bag has a large main compartment and a handy zip pocket at the front. I think this bag would be perfect for the summer but I am a tad dubious about it during the winter, especially if using for a school bag that everything inside may get wet.

Along with Princess Sofia herself who comes with her bunny, we were also sent Ruby with Royal Friend Figure and Jade with Royal Friend Figure all who have an RRP of £5.99. The figurines are approximately three inches tall. My girls are at the age where imaginative play is their favourite game to play. Being twins, it enables them to play with each other and they make up little conversations which is super cute. These come in small packages with their little animal friends, making them perfect Christmas stocking fillers for toddler girls and boys at a cheap affordable price. I love that the figures can bend meaning they can stand and sit making it easier for the girls to play with.

We were also sent a Mini Royal Prep Art Class playset (RRP. £9.99) This was a firm favourite with the girls (and their older brother!) as if you add water, the picture changes and is magically transformed into a coloured picture. We had to take it in turns to “paint” the magic picture. This was so much fun and they absolutely loved this one.

Princess Amber’s Closet playset (RRP. £9.99) allowed them to be able to change her outfits. A few bits including her necklace were a little fiddly but they enjoyed being able to change her clothes and accessories.  The girls had a whale of a time playing with all their new princess toys and apparently they were going to a ball…!

Finally, our very lucky girls received a copy of the Sofia the First magazine which costs £2.99. It is a monthly magazine packed full of fun. The magazine came with a poster, stickers and is packed with stories, colouring and educational work which is perfect for us, as the girls are getting to grips with the alphabet, all with the help of their favourite Sofia!

The stickers were definitely a hit!

The Disney Sofia the First Toy Range is available to buy from Smyths Toys Store, they would make perfect Christmas and birthday gifts for any Disney Sofia the First fans. I think the range is very affordable and of a good quality. Sometimes I feel a little aggrieved paying a tenner for something that is of poor quality, but I would definitely pay for this range. I’m sure that this will be on any Disney Princess Sofia fans Christmas wishlist.

So cute, I love the tiara especially 🙂 They are pretty cool toys, my girls loved playing with little figures when they were small, it’s amazing how much they get out of imaginative play!
Magazines are great too, we used always buy them for the stories and activities.
