Learn to Bake Lalaloopsy Doll Review & Giveaway

The girls turn three next month and they have really started “playing” properly with their toys. They have started making up little games and really taking on the role of their toys so I was thrilled when we were sent a Crumbs Sugar Cookies –  Lalaloopsy Learn to Bake doll with accessories from the bakery edition collection.

The Lalaloopsy™ dolls were once rag dolls, who magically came to life when their very last stitch was sewn – taking on the personalities of the materials that were used to make them. They are created with a little bit of love and imagination, little ones are sure to think Lalaloopsy dolls are “sew” cute. What struck me first when I saw the doll was how colourful it is, it’s a real eye catcher!

The doll itself comes with a removable dress and shoes. She also has her baking accessories which are a bowl, a spoon, a frosting piping bag (to ice the cookies of course!), a tray and two cute cookies she’s made. The doll is really easy to grip and her head moves backwards and forwards and her arms move about too so she can “mix” using the spoon and bowl.

IMG_6210As you can see, P1 was absolutely thrilled with her new doll. The recommended age for the doll is age 4, but as you can see because it’s large and easy to hold we got on with it just fine. The doll has very bright vibrant colours which I think immediately drew her to the doll. I like that she is not likely to break easily as my pair are a force to be reckoned with.

I like the dolls as they have a bit of an edge opposed to your stereotypical doll and I love their funky hairdo.

For spring 2016, there are two Lalaloopsy characters both which come with new accessories to fit their personality. The other doll is Rosy Bumps ‘N’ Bruises who is a nurse-on-the-go! This doll includes a number of fun accessories, including a stethoscope, check up bag, medicine bottle and of course, Rosy’s pet bear with removable bandages.

The Lalaloopsy Dolls with Accessories are for ages 4 to 104!! They are available at all good toy retailers For more information, visit http://www.lalaloopsy.com The doll has an RRP of £24.99 which given the quality of the doll and the cute accessories I would be happy to buy it as it’s a large doll. As a whole my only critism would be the amount of packaging that it has – it took me a good ten minutes to undo all the ties and get her out the box, much to my daughters frustration but that’s no reflection on the toy itself.

To celebrate, I am giving away a Lalaloopsy Minis Style N Swap to one lucky Twinderelmo reader.
lalaloopsyYou can switch up the style of your favourite Mini Lalaloopsys™ with the brand new Style ‘N’ Swap range.
