As we are currently moving into our new house, I am excited about being able to design the rooms to my personal taste.
As we were renting and have for the last almost 7 years, we wanted to buy a house with potential. The house we have bought has the option to extend at the rear like the majority in the street have but what I’m really excited about is there’s adequate loft space to convert into a bedroom with ensuite meaning that all 3 kids will finally be able to have their own bedrooms. It’s easy to lump the girls in together but as twins I eally think as they grow they will crave their own space more than anyone.
A modern minimalistic loft conversion would be my ultimate dream. I would want it to be very light and airy with a neutral vibe but it would probably follow my obsession with all things grey. I would love high ceilings and lots of windows to maximise the light able to get into the room; I massively dislike dark rooms!
If budget was no option I would have a gorgeous roll top Jacuzzi bath with a TV installed in the wall for some uber Mommy relax time. I would also
want need a power shower to wake me up in the mornings along with under floor heating for those cold mornings.
I would love a huge dressing table and a shoe closet to indulge my extreme love of footwear. To ensure all my wildest dreams were met, I would need to use the services of Rated People which is the largest UK online trade recommendation service which allows homeowners to connect with the best tradesman for the job as they have a massive wide scope of specialists, and they help over 50,000 homeowners find local trusted tradesman per month. If I were to get my dream room I would need a bathroom specialist, flooring and heating specialists, and definitely the loft conversion specialist to make my dreams a reality. You are also able to see what other homeowners say meaning you can put your full trust in them.
I have been scouring Pinterest for inspiration and I have created my own loft conversion board. Take a look
If you could have a dream room, what would it be?
