The Beach – The Ordinary Moments

We don’t live near the beach so when we do finally get to visit one, the kids seem entranced by it. They don’t want to make grand sandcastles or huge moats – they literally are just amazed to sit on it and touch it.
As you may know we were on holiday last week down in Dorset and we inadvertently ended up in Bournemouth on the beach and were totally unprepared but it turned out to be just wonderful. The weather was perfect as it was warm but not too hot so we all got stuck in and loved sitting and playing together.

I love making memories that the kids can treasure. For me it’s the simple ordinary moments that create the biggest smiles.

My two are the same on beaches, they seem to be overwhelmed by the sand, the sensation of walking on it and splashing in the waves, it’s great to watch

I love beach photos! We haven’t visited the beach this year, yet! I am hoping to sometime next month.
Looks like a really good unplanned day! xxx

It looks like a really great day and the sand on that beach looks glorious to play in. Z used to hate sand for a bit but can’t get enough, it could entertain him for EVER! 🙂
