Slimming World – Week 3


I thought I’d post this early and get it out the way – in short, this week has been an utter disaster compared to week two.

I knew that last weekend was going to be hard to stay on plan as we had a wedding with afternoon & evening meals then we went to Alton Towers for Iggle Piggles party so it was going to be two long days with lots of temptation. What I didn’t bargain for was how much I struggled to get back on plan.

I feel really disappointed into myself and found myself slipping into old habits of eating loads when the kids go to bed and my motivation and will power failed to exist. So what was always going to be a few naughty days turned into a week of bingeing and I feel just awful for it.

I know I shouldn’t beat myself up but I feel very disappointed that so early in I’ve fallen off the wagon. But as they say today is a new day and I am determined to get back into it and stick to it. So if you see any tweets from me – keep me in check!!

So here’s for the damage;

Weight change: 2lb gainΒ 

Total loss: 7lbs

I was totally expecting it and I think it’ll be the reality check I need to get back motivated.

My goal for the coming week is simply to get back into it and be fully committed.

    I am the same for eating junk when Boo has gone to be, I think it’s because I like to eat in peace!
    I always try to build in little treats and such to my healthy eating plans (when I actually do them) so that I never feel too deprived and then end up giving up completely. I find if I am too good then I end up just massively going out of control. It sounds like you have had nice reasons to be a bit naughty and special occasions are there for a reason!
    I hope that next week is an easier week for you =)

    Oh hun don’t let it worry you, I have had a dreadful week over half term too, I am not looking forward to Monday weigh in. give yourself the week off and start a fresh without dwelling on it. x

    I am starting Slimming World this week. I need to lose a stone to fit into my wedding dress. I thought it would be easy with this massive motivation to lose weight but no. Unfortunately there is no problem a cup of tea and a biscuit or six doesn’t help so I haven’t lost a thing. Heres hoping SW does the trick for all of us x

    I have fallen off the wagon royally just recently – yesterday a ate an entire bag of chocolate covered fudge… toady I ate three mini magnums. It happens hun πŸ™‚ Just keep getting back on xxx

    Im currently doing slimming world its so hard when ur a greedy chuffer like me lol but this week we finally booked our wedding a year away think its given me the kick up my chunky bum i needed !!!
