Busy Busy!

I rarely give a proper insight of our day to day lives so thought I’d give you a quick glimpse of our super busy weekend!

So today Charlie breaks up for half term which means a week of having him at home with us and a week of no school runs! Hopefully my husband is off Monday and possibly Tuesday so that would be lovely.

Charlie is trying out a football session on Wednesday at his school which he hasn’t attended before. If I haven’t mentioned before Charlie is addicted to football! It came from nowhere as he’s never been particularly interested or sporty so it shocked us a bit when he started after school clubs for football but he absolutely loves it. I’m hoping he likes it next week as I think they run it through the summer so it may be a nice thing to be able to attend in the six weeks holidays.

Back to this weekend and unusually it’s very busy! We usually have one day of stuff then a more laid back one but its all go. Today I’m having my nails done as we are off to a wedding tomorrow! It’s on my husbands side of the family and *deep breath* no children!! My Dad is looking after them and it’s quite nice as it doesn’t start until 2.30pm so it won’t feel like such a long time to leave them. I’m excited about getting glammed up.

Losing a bit of weight has made me feel a bit more confident in myself which is nice. Wish I had booked to have my hair done as I so rarely do but my nails will be a big enough treat.

Leaving the kids on Saturday will certainly be forgotten about as we are off to Alton Towers on Sunday as we are meeting Iggle Piggle himself.

Keep your eyes peeled in the next week when I tell you guys all about how we got on as party bloggers. I’m really excited as the girls have never been to CBeebies land and I think they’re all going to love it!!!

Enjoy your half term all!

B xx
