[Review] House of Fraser Kidswear Clothing

It’s no secret that I’m a bit of a clothing addict when it comes to buying for the kids; six binbags full in the loft is pretty much tip of the iceberg if I’m being totally honest but even I can only look at the same stock online everyday. Now here’s a bit of a confession. Yes I know most reviews are all gushing and oh how amazing a company is etc etc but in all honesty – I didn’t realise that House of Fraser did kids clothes – and boy am I now glad that I do! I got a little bit engrossed in perusing their website and before I knew it I’d been on the site almost an hour!

Our choices

There are literally thousands of items to choose from. I decided to choose each of my three a top each. I let Charlie choose his own and he decided to choose “The Hulk” top which as you will agree is pretty awesome! It’s by Fabric Flavours and cost £16. Now. If I’m being deadly honest that is a bit more than I’d usually pay for a top HOWEVER I do splash the cash on special occasions and once you feel this top – I honestly do feel like it justifies the price. The ‘Don’t Make Me Angry’ is sewn in, not printed on and you know that when it’s wash t means it won’t crack and basically fade away within a few washes/ So liken that to a cheaper top that won’t last half as long and now Charlie is older and clothes last him more than a few months unlike when he was a baby  I think it evens itself out.

The Incredible Hulk. Don't make me angry

That’s his scary angry face by the way

I decided on a super cute French Bulldog purple stripy top from Swedish company Polarn O Pyret. The dogs little bib is made of extra material which she was a tad obsessed with!! We had this in a size 18-24 (the girls are 19.5 months) and I’d definitely say it’s true to sizing. It’s quite an unusual print and I have to admit I’m a sucker for a little French Bulldog so my eyes lit up when I saw this print! It’s only £6.40 in the sale what a blimmin bargain!!!! Another lovely aspect is that it’s unisex so perfect for everyone.

House of Fraser clothing PUG

P1 doing her best catalogue shots… What a poser!

I chose P1 a United Colours of Benetton long sleeve jumper with a super cute “Hello” on the front. Now I remember when I was small my Mom always used to get our jumpers from United Colour of Benetton so I was drawn to this top. I loved the cut of the neckline and the colour of a light  green. The writing on the front is super cute! I would just say that sizing wise it goes from 18-24 to 3-4. This is a 3-4 as P1 is a bit bigger than her sis so this top is baggier but not massive on her. This top is currently in the sale priced at £6.87 (it’s the sale so that’s why a bit of a strange number!)

IMG_4966.JPG  Ah House of Fraser. I fear for my husband. He already moans that I spend far too much on kids clothes already but I’ve now discovered this Aladdin’s cave of masses and masses of wonderful brands that I have never seen before. If you fancy a bargain (the Hello jumper is down from £22.90!) and super gorgeous quality clothing – then pop over. House of Fraser – you have a convert!!

B xx

We were gifted these items in return for an honest review – I think you can see that we were pretty happy with everything!!!

Love all of these but especially the Hello top, it is just gorgeous. Must admit I don’t often think of House of Fraser for children’s clothes but it looks like they have plenty to choose from! xx #triedtested

Haha have twins! Usually one will play ball hahaha. No for every one picture – there’s 20 I can’t use! In the dog pics she was looking at the TV!! P2 is such a poser and pulls the most ridiculous grins whenever a camera is pointed at her! They do say never work with kids or animals!

Lovely review! That Hulk Tee is amazing! Love House of Fraser too, it’s surprising that you can find affordable children’s clothes there isn’t it! Like all three tops, but my favourite has to be the ‘Hello’ jumper <3 x

Love your choices – I’ve never bought children’s wear from House of Fraser, it just wouldn’t have occurred to me before now. I’m going to be keeping my eyes open next time I’m in there though!
